Overview

AgroLife Frontiers Publications is committed to maintaining academic integrity, originality, and ethical publishing standards. Authors submitting books, edited volumes, book chapters, or other scholarly works must ensure that their submissions represent original work and appropriately acknowledge all sources, ideas, data, and previously published material.
Similarity Threshold and Screening
All submissions may be screened using plagiarism detection software, such as Turnitin or other comparable tools, to assess textual similarity and identify potential instances of plagiarism or inappropriate duplication. The recommended overall similarity index should be below 18%, with no more than 2% similarity from any single source. All similarity reports will be evaluated in context, as similarity scores alone do not establish plagiarism. Properly cited quotations, references, standard terminology, and other legitimate matches may be considered during the assessment.
Consequences of Plagiarism
If plagiarism, self-plagiarism, unauthorized reproduction, or duplicate publication is identified at any stage of the editorial or publication process, AgroLife Frontiers Publications reserves the right to reject the submission, suspend the publication process, or withdraw an accepted or published work, as appropriate. Depending on the severity of the violation, the publisher may restrict future submissions from the responsible author(s). Authors may also be asked to provide clarification, supporting documentation, or a revised manuscript where appropriate. All cases will be handled in accordance with the publisher's publication ethics policies.
